Ready, set, pop! This fun and easy game is perfect for an e-learning recess break. Play with a friend or parent to see who can put the most pom-poms into the tin bucket. It’s a win-win!
Remember, a change of pace throughout the school day can help improve classroom behavior. Give the little ones a break with this awesome activity. Creative living expert Lynn Lilly walks us through each step of the way. Follow along with the instructions below!
Supplies:
- Liquid Glue
- Scissors
- Foam Self-Adhesive Letters
- Two Balloons
- Craft Roll
- Blue, Orange, and Green Construction Paper
- Pom-poms
- Tin bucket
Time to Craft: 20 minutes
Step 1: Carefully cut the craft roll into two equal pieces.
Step 2: Apply glue to the craft rolls. Wrap one half in blue construction paper and the other in orange construction paper.
Step 3: Stick and paste the foam self-adhesive letters to the craft rolls. We used our friends’ Amy and Sam’s names, but you can add your name! Set aside.
Step 4:Â Tie a knot in the open end of the balloon. Carefully cut off the tip of a balloon and cover one end of the craft roll with the balloon. Complete for the other craft roll. Set aside.
Step 5:Â Wrap the widest part of the tin bucket with green construction paper and secure with glue.
Step 6: Attach foam self-adhesive letter stickers onto the green construction paper.
Step 7: Fill the craft roll with pom-poms and then pull and release the balloon so that the pom-poms fly out of the craft roll.
Step 8: You’re now ready to pull and pop your way to a fun time!
