The opening of Great Wolf Lodge Southern California in early 2016 marks a new era of expansion and growth for Great Wolf Resorts. Located in Garden Grove, near Anaheim and in the heart of family vacation mecca, Great Wolf Resort Southern California is the first indoor water park in California. It is also the company’s first California resort and its largest, with 105,000 square feet of water park thrills.
Opened in Spring 2018, Great Wolf Lodge Georgia brings a unique family vacation experience to the Peach State. With the heart of every Great Wolf Lodge, the indoor water park, as well as many new experiences to offer guests, Great Wolf Lodge Georgia is making a splash.
Great Wolf Lodge Maryland opened in June 2023. This is Great Wolf's 20th resort and its largest with 700 family-friendly suites and a 126,000-square-foot indoor water park.
In 2009, Great Wolf Resorts built its first Southeastern resort in Concord, located just outside the Charlotte metropolitan area in North Carolina.
Great Wolf Lodge Illinois opened its doors in 2018, giving Chicagoland a convenient place to getaway with the family without sacrificing any of the fun. With 80,000 square feet of indoor water park fun and a variety of new amenities, the 17th Great Wolf Lodge is making a huge paw print in the Midwest.
Opened in 2006 was Great Wolf Lodge Cincinnati/Mason, located in “Ohio’s Largest Playground.” It is touted as one of four regional attractions by the city of Mason, along with the Golf Center at Kings Island and the annual Western & Southern Open.
The Rocky Mountains welcomed its first Great Wolf Lodge in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in late 2016. Great Wolf Resorts opened Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area in 2007.

Great Wolf Lodge in Webster is planned to open in 2024. It will become the second Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park resort in Texas and the company’s 22nd resort in North America. Located in Harris County, the 532-room resort will encompass 27-acres and feature a 95,000 square-foot indoor water park and a 58,000 square-foot Great Wolf Adventure Park.
The year 2003 also heralded the opening of the fourth Great Wolf Lodge, this time in Kansas City, Kansas, a key family vacation destination in the heart of the United States.
Great Wolf Lodge in Mashantucket is under construction with plans to open in 2025. This will be Great Wolf's 23st resort and the third largest with 549 family-friendly suites and a 91,000-square-foot indoor water park.
Great Wolf Lodge Minnesota opened its doors in late 2017, joining many of the fun family attractions just outside Minneapolis. Located near the Mall of America, Great Wolf Lodge offers families a great place to stay and play with over 75,000 square feet of indoor water park fun, the Great Wolf Adventure Park and more shopping and dining experiences all under one roof.
Great Wolf Lodge South Florida is under construction with plans to open in October 2024. This will be Great Wolf's 21st resort and its largest with 500 family-friendly suites and a 100,000-square-foot indoor water park.

As Great Wolf Resorts realized that this fully integrated vacation experience would be a hit in other markets, it chose Sandusky, Ohio, a family vacation mecca located half way between Cleveland and Toledo for its second Great Wolf Lodge in 2001. Offering the same first-class service and amenities as the property in Wisconsin Dells, Great Wolf Lodge Sandusky is now listed as one of the top ten things to do in Sandusky by TripAdvisor.
Families across Arizona and the greater Southwest have something fun to howl about after Great Wolf Resorts expanded its paw print to The Grand Canyon State. The 350-room family resort, on an 18-acre site adjacent to Salt River Fields, is located within the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. Great Wolf Lodge Arizona opened in 2019 and is the company’s 18th resort in North America.

Built in 1997, Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin Dells is Great Wolf Resorts’ flagship property. Located in the Waterpark Capital of the World, its combination of great lodgings, attractions, activities and indoor water park was so popular, it was quickly expanded from 117 suites with 20,000 square feet of water park space to 437 suites with around 76,000 square feet of water park space.
